my 97 gtp keeps shutting off at random times, sometime i can go an hour sometimes i can go 2 min. i am getting fuel but no spark when it haooens, but when i let it sit i can go back later and it will start right up like normal, would hate to sell the car because i'm a pretty big guy and love the room and the power my grand prix has and it hasn't been that long since i put a new supercharger on it, the tach was dropping down for a while now but i replaced the crank censor, maybe i got a bad one? any help would be good i'm sure it will be better than (i don't know what to tell you on that one) which is what i got from the local dealership

Spark plugs good? What about wires and coils? Have you checked for vac leaks?

The plugs and wires are good can't find a vacuum leak and the coils I figured weren't the problem because if one went out it should still run just very poorly and when it happens it goes from great running car to just shutting off, I could be wrong though actually now that I think about it I did check plugs on different coils I wouldn't think all 3 would quit at the same time but at the same time I'm no mechanic

Could be a flaky ICM (the big metal part that all the coils sit on/bolt to). If this goes then there goes your spark to all cylinders.
