They swapped the stock s/c pulley back on and found that the #1 plug was severly carbon tracked, I'm gonna change all plugs anyways since the car was ran with a 3.4 pulley and no supporting mods so god only knows what the others look like They also scanned the PCM and found it was tuned so they reflashed it The car is running the best it ever has and feels so much stronger back in it's stock form, now I can slowly start modding it properly

Keeping the tune probably wouldn't have hurt anything...it was the pulley that was doing the hurting. Hopefully all the electrodes on your spark plugs are still there...and not missing...

Ouch a 3.4 on a GenV with no supporting mods...
1998 GS with Open cone, PLOG, ZZP Catless DP, tune & Intense MPS 3.6. Pulls good enough to make the woman smack me and call me a D!*k.

Honestly I wanted the tune to stay but Carmax ok'ed the reflash without asking me and I'd complain but it won't do any good, I'm just happy to have a properly running car. I'm going to change the plugs to Auto light 104's when I back from vacation, I'm curious to see what the old ones look like

If it is still on a stock pulley...then AL104's will do you no good.

AL606's...gapped anywhere from .050" to .060" will suffice.
