The air conditioning will not work because the system indicates that the outside temperature is 35 degrees when it is actually 85. Sometimes the system corrects itself the air conditioning works fine. Any ideas as to the problem. Thanks.

so your saying the hvac controls says its 35 outside right?

if thats the case go buy a new ambient temp sensor from the dealer for like 10-20 bucks.

get on the ground right in front of the car, and slide under the bumper and start looking straight up, there is like 3-4 gap between like the bumper and radiator, there should be a sensor clipped to the plastic bumper thingy.

    Looks like this.
