unless you've gone this far into a engine before you will need more than one day, and your going to need a tune after its all swapped over.

so i say yank the sc engine strip it,(so you can dump the car fast) get all your new gaskets and head bolts, and new pcm, and what not, then start tearing your engine apart.

or just swap engines all together if he dont kill it in the derby.

    no.

you add a blower and your craptastic 97 vacuum trans will implode.

grab all the parts , the heads, the lim, blower, and all the pulleys and sit on them till you have more time to get it done.

or just grab the whole engine and trans and sit on that till you can get a swap done.

while its sitting there you could be doing the lim and valve cover gaskets.

either way its a project for sure. but while you save up or gather all the new stuff you'll need, you wont be in such a crunch for time down the road.
