Iv had it for a bit and was just wondering if anyone uses this app that can tell me if the KR feature works on it for our GP's

You'd be better off with an aeroforce or hptuners IMO, but quite a few people on here are using apps like that.
yeah i really like using it mainly cuz i can have a bunch of info all on one screen rather than the gauge only seen 2 plus it cost me $30 for the adapter and 5 for the app lol so far everything works on it pretty nicely im just trying to figure out if my car is KR free or if the KR just doesn't work on it yet lol
where do you get the adapter/cable? also whats the name of the app for the droid?
okay android torque lol but link for the adapter?
the ebay ones are hit or miss. mine is a hit. you may not be lucky. search for "bluetooth OBDII" and get ready to research.
ah thanks. im only curious on if it'll work on other vehicles not mine. looks like it works off the bluetooth feature.
It works perfectly for me. Has since day 1 after following Ian's instructions to update.[/QUOTE]
Ok so then i just have to check one or two more things but if my KR doesnt change then apparently im KR free >.< which i honestly didnt expect lol
try tapping on the block with like a ratchet extension and small hammer to give it some false knock at idle and see if it registers the knock....ive never done this but i am pretty sure it should work, i will confirm this in about a week lol. oh, do this while it is running of coarse. lol
torque works great for me. KR and all
I also use torque but I have never figured out how to check KR. Could you tell me how to check it using torque?
Anyways,
I absolutely love torque. Its way better then my P.O.S. craftsman obd2 scanner that I bought about a year ago. I paid like 22 bucks for an ebay bluetooth scanner and use it with torque and its simply amazing. You can check so many different things with it.![]()
Oh I forgot to add,
My first bluetooth scanner from ebay was bad. I could not get it to pair up with my phone. After trying like 5 different phones, I came to the conclusion it was the scanner.
I emailed the seller and he sent me another one. That one connected right away and has worked perfectly. I have even used it on several different vehicles and works great.
This is the scanner I bought, not from this seller but this is the model.

go into the settings and load the grand prix pids then exit torque and then reopen and it should work then.
So I put a KR dial graph on one of screens and just took out my GT for a ride. It never said I had any KR? But it also just said no data the whole time? Do I have 0 KR or does torque not actually read KR on grand prixs?
Also, If anyone can explain to me how to get the 0-60 to work. I have tried everything and it wont work.
I come to a complete stop and it says "ready" but I can't get it to start when I accelerate?
Whats the deal?
i told my brother about this app and he went out and got the obd2 blue tooth, so we hooked it up tonight to my car, and we couldn't find any thing for KR, and couldn't get the boost reading, had vac it was 18.6 at a idle, we didn't drive around with it tho. it does have a bunch of good info on it. and my timing was 21 deg's at idle, is that normal?
to answer the last question... yes.
