Are there any 94 octane gas stations in the Cincy area that anyone knows of? Particuarly, edgewater/Cleves area? I know that there are some Edgewater and Cincy guys in here besides me. I can find turbo blue, but not 94. Turbo blue makes me nervous, too high an Octane.

a higher octane wont do damage, driving around on 100 octane could be done everyday no problem, just your wallet will hurt.

Sleeper, you may want to do a little homework on what octane ratings actually mean.

I know somewhat about it, I also know that people are claiming that the high octane has burned out their rings, I have no experience either way.

Naaa, low octane fuel would cause something like that far before higher octane would because of the less consistant detonation. And even then, doubtful unless someone's been messing with the engine in foolish ways, using nitrous with assemblies that can't handle it...etc.

That's the sort of stuff that makes me suggest doing homework on the topic, it's often not understood correctly. It's not 'more powerful' fuel, it's 'more controlled detonation'. Really, that's about it!

There's a really great thread about octane on here. I would suggest reading that, I believe the link for it is in the safely modding your 3800 thread.
