Hi all very new poster here, but i have been reading the boards for about a month now.
I finally got myself a Grand Prix GTP 2000 about a week ago.
Now when i got her she was in half bad shape hadnt been started in a year, battery was dead, breaks tires all that jazz was bad.
Well all these things above I got sorted out, but here's my question (kinda two fold in truth)

Also I am a complete car newbie!!!

Fristly, shes only got 74k on the clock, but i know the last owner didnt do more than get tires and change the oil, (maybe 2 times) in its life.

So what should I do and when? Oil change is done of course, but what about daining the breaks? flushing the tranny? what would be your list of things to get done if it was you picking up the car? BEar in mind right now I have no need to add HP or anything along those lines, I just want to get her back to her prime.

Secondly, I have read alot about this online, but I hear that the tranny on the GTP fails alot is this true? mines stuttering when i go from a full stop to 1st, also anything on a hill it feels like it just cant get up a gear. Any suggestions here?

Just wanted to say thanks in advanced, I know you guys all have lifes but its nice to see people taking some time and helping us newbies out.

    Cheers

    Ra

change the supercharger fluid as well.

    Probably needs a change.

Same with the power steering fluid.
