    Iron heads with race gas is no problem I'm talkin about regular unleaded street use blocks running on 92 octane and how did I shatter the pistons was in wot with as condition at 5400 rpms wit the timing at 39 then boom lean wit a lot of timing caused that blow up less than 500 miles on the block

    You ran too much timing, it was lean, your EGT's went sky high, you popped pistons.

    Ok, I'm just having a hard time understanding how a faulty secondary linkage could cause a lean condition. If it wasn't opening, it would be acting like a two barrel carb, which wouldn't cause it to lean out.
