I have a 2003 Grand Prix, when I bought is the dealer offered to install front license plate. I declined but now need to install it. What is the best way to do this? Thanks.

Ha, Ha, good one. There is a cover where the plate should go. Do I remove this cover or just drill self tapping screws into the cover. Thanks

    WRONG.

It has screws at the bottom holding it into place. Once they're off, push up and pull the bottom out first.

I went to the hardware store and bought 2 cabinet hinges and screwed it into my lower fascia, so when i'm driving it kicks back (and once magnets are installed, will catch). For the time being, it kicks flat at a stop and looks legal.

This passed after I got a fix it ticket for no front plate.
