I have a 2003 Grand Prix GT. I have had it for about a month now and 2 weeks in i noticed the cruise control not working. Havent looked into it yet but i was just wondering if there were and main things that i could do a wuick check over? and if this was common for these cars. Thanks for any help!

First thing to check is the third brake light bulbs, if they are blown, no CC.

look at the break light switches on the brake pedal. there are two switches, on small and one big with 2 connectors, disconnect the single brake like switch and use a paper clip or something to jump the connector. test drive and see if it fixes it. my switch went bad just after i got the car and i had to jump the switch. its works fine now. switch is about 20 bucks at the dealer

I start off at the throttle body. If the cable for the cruise isn't hooked up.. it will not work well.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Cruise control is all hooked up. I will try jumping the connector tomorrow and see if that works.
