Just cleaned up my headlights with the Meguirs heavy duty kit. Its awesome. Practically factory clarity right now. Wish i had some pics, or a camera for that matter.... It looks great and I definitely recommend it to anyone. My headlights were teeerrrrrrible.

But anyway, I noticed that my left headlight looks real dirty on the inside. Not entirely sure how it got dirty inside as they are supposed to be sealed. Any good ideas on how to clean up the inside? Thanks guys. You havent failed me yet.

Only way to really fix this problem is to get new capsules, I believe amazon.com had them cheap recently.

say I wasnt looking for a permanent fix, but just a way to flush it all out. Do i just hose it out after removing the headlights? Alcohol?

..or you could remove the capsule, throw it in the oven, pull the lense off and clean the inside.

245* for about twelve mins. will heat the adhesives up to the point were you can pull the lense off of the capsule.

Unless you have an oven in your garage or some other way to heat this thing, I do not suggest putting it in the oven you use to cook with.............Fumes from the plastic may contaminate the interior of the oven, and if its not clean, it will get into all the grime, effectively making everything you eat taste like plastic.

Not to mention the possibility of getting distracted and having it melt.........

I would suggest just getting new capsules, you can buy one at a time if you're strapped on cash, and it will come out great!!!
