They are in teh head right? So they are always heated. You shouldn't have any issues.

PB blaster and a pry bar
Sooo, you want to break them off?? Just soak em down and use a ratchet and deepwell socket and go to town. Mine came loose no problem. Maybe try and do it when it still has some engine heat left in the manifold.

redline- what is this "GIBBS" you speak of? Like Joe Gibbs, lol... off to google I go.

Only reason I go for the pry bar is because my arms are about the size of noodles. So its really like a normal persons strength.
-BillyBoost you make sense with the fact there already/always heated up anyway heated up so shouldnt be an issue.

As for this GIBBS stuff I think a google is in order

    Gibbs Brand Lubricant at GIBBSBRANDLUBRICANT.COM

this stuff is just awsome, its a little pricey for a reason.
    1. one cool thing is you spray it on baremetal and it seals it, being in the body shop we have shells in bare metal waiting in the custom fab department. theyre all in bare metal and soaked with gibbs, they havent seen a speck of rust in over a month.

2.rusty bolts, we used to use liquid wrench, pb blaster, etc, religously until one guy found out how much better gibbs is, crusted hinges on GM work vans usually break from seizing up, a squirt with this and they break free.

    3. awsome gun cleaner, and it doesnt smell like dead animal,

Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

I've never had to use any penetrating oil. Manifold bolts have always come out for me no problem. It's manifold to crossover bolts that suck and break on you

That's what I was gunna say.. when I did my power log last month some of the manifold bolts were a little stubborn until I hit them with pb, but none of them broke. What I did snap was a crossover bolt. Even after I put pb on it, it was pretty stuck, and the last time I tried to turn it the head of the bolt snapped clean off and my elbow smashed off the dogbone so hard...

I weeped for almost 5 minutes.

Well this thread just went to an interesting direction lol. Ill PB the s$#t outta them and hope for the best. So since we moved to the crossover bolts being an issue say in THERORY I snap one of those will I have to dill it out of some sort.

BillyBoost-lol I cant bring the girlfriend to the garage the wife would get pissed I think. Maybe my 12 yearold cousin would help

And as for the finger smashing I do a lil dance and scrunch my face real hard.
