    What else should I do while I do it? Coolant elbow, thermostat housing gasket, what else????

    That's about it besides a oil change and coolant flush shortly after your done. Don't know that I would mess with the tstat gasket either but its cheap enough and easy enough I guess. And I assume you know to get the upgraded aluminum LIM gaskets and not the plastic ones?

    no i dont know. how and where? at autozone they have two different fel-pro kind. one thats rubber and plastic and the other is some fancier kind that comes with o-rings for the injectors, some other o-rings and the tstat gasket.

    no, just get them from rockauto.com or something. i think most parts stores have them as well.

    just get the fel-pro kit, your coolant elbows, and make sure they haz everything you need like all the little o-rings and what not.

    ok i see the one that comes with all the o-rings and stuff. but it doesnt say if its aluminum or not. thats y i didnt get it from autozone. so the fel pro "permadry" is the aluminum one?

    i just got it from rock auto. i needed the supercharger gasket and after shipping and handling i saved 4 dollars. thanks a lot for telling me about that website.

    you need the tb gasket as well if you take it off. you might also consider doing valve cover gaskets at the time. and don't forget coolant elbows.

    yeahhh it was a 5% discount i coulda gave you the code

    yeah, if you wanna do vc just go to autozone they haz felpro and u can get grommets there too. i just did mine on rockauto cus i was penny pinching everything.

    yeah i kinda need to do that too. these gaskets for these engines are a little pricy compared to others i have done.
