Since a rad flush is cheaper than a rad...
i tried
what about an fbody rad from an ls car?
what are the specs on those?
Looks like those are too far out of shape.
Also 7/8th's core for a stock one.
Seems like i can do $225 out the door for the 1" rad, locally.
Flush first though.
Make sure you emulsify all that crap in the rad good and proper. Fluid contact with the rad is critical.
what about AFCO radiators?
I had to replace my GT radiator because the numbskull who owned the car before me put about 5 cans of stop leak in it and when I did the IM gaskets I think I dislodged something and it clogged the radiator. I bought a used GTP radiator from Morad with the fans so now I have a bigger radiator and spare parts for less than the price of a new one.
I know my system has had some stop leak...
Thanks for the tip.
Spectra CU1518
1.25" rad from a 1994-1996 grand prix GTP or monte carlo Z34.
Cheaper than a GT/GTP rad.
Also going for A/C delete, and dropping a CU98 in there for the intercooler.
