I have tried the rear view mirror fix kit from advanced auto 2 diffferent times with no luck. I followed the instructions to a t, scraped the old glue off, wiped it clean with a alcohol wipe, then let it dry, used the accelerator next, used the glue, even let it sit over night in the garage, but no luck. I need something that will really hold the mirror on, hate not having it up. Any ideas, thanks in advance

hmm. how much of the advanced kit glue did you put on it? all it takes is a tiny dab to get it to stick..

mann. um. there was 2 different kinds of kits when i was at autozone and had the same problem. i got the better of the two kits. so you MIGHT wanna try finding a different one and it may work better for you?

I've had the same problem with the kits from advance and autozone on my old cutlass. Maybe you could try safelite or another company who replaces windshields? Since they have to reattach the mirror they would have the stuff to do it. And it probably won't keep falling.

Like Jmoore said, I would take it to a glass shop. If you go when they're in a good mood, they'll probably do it for free.

I used a super glue called "the last glue" after i tried using one of those mirror kits. It dried within seconds and its been in my car sitting in the sun for a week or 2 and no problems. It literally burned me hand though so be very careful with it.
