i can honestly say i have no idea what a tranny slipping feels like. I think it may just be the start, but im still worried because eventually im going to have to replace it.

Just noticed it today, honestly...the first time I noticed it was after I slid around a somewhat sharp corner on gravel. I know, dumb...god im dumb. Pretty sure that wasnt what wouldve caused it though would it?

from what ive noticed it does some funky up and down stuff on the RPMs, and the car somewhat shakes as the RPMs do. This, from what i can tell happens around 1500-2000 RPMs. Im pretty sure its when it is shifting between 2nd and 3rd. I dont know for sure if its between 2nd and 3rd though...

god, fml im ****ing stupid. I knew it was coming though, I dont exactly drive it to its full MPG potential...as in, somewhat putting it down...dont put it all the way down too often...and usually i dont spin the tires...only when im pissed, or almost die.

hope this turns out better than i think its going to. i do realize w/e the problem is, its my fault...i guess i can kinda blame the 145k mileage on it.

    thanks for reading/opinions

how much gas are you giving it?

alot of times its the torque converter trying to lock and unlock and makes that shudder feel to it.

just take your foot off the gas the put it right back on it.

i did do that and it stopped after that...i noticed it was mostly when i was going up a hill at around 30 and barely pressing the gas...kinda fluctuated between 1500-2000 rpm, scared the chit outta me...and then i let off and floored it and when i did the same thing again it would happen...

hope its not my tranny slipping...TC would still be bad though

maybe i should check my tranny fluid...honestly have no idea how though

thats pretty normal for the torque converter to do that, just let off the gas and get back on it, no need to floor it.

the owners manual says how to check the tranny fluid. And so does google and this site if you search for it.

I feel ya. I had a brand new cadillac when I turned 16 and I beat the living chit outta that thing. Ultimately, it was a drunk driver crossing into my lane that destroyed it. The drunkard died and we (4 of us) walked away without a scratch. I don't know why I spilled that, as there is no moral to the story, besides buy a caddy and don't die.
