    no abs light yet?

jack the front wheel up, and hold the the tire at the 12 and 6 position and see if you have any movement in the wheel, if so you found the one that's bad, but as I've found out with other car I've had, if one side is bad the other is sure to follow soon, so if you can afford to do both sides do so.

easy job. normally its always gunna be to the opposite side you turn, IF the sound go's away when going to the right its the left side and when turning to the left its the right side.

Should be 5 lugs nuts, take the brake caliper off and rotor, then remove the 36mm axle nut, then the 3 bolts hold the hub/wheel bearing in. Its pretty simple. I'm syure there is a write up on the step by step prodcedure.

remember to crack the 36 mm axle nut loose before you remove the rim or jack it up, unless you have a good air gun.

im having the same problem except it only squeaks when i press the brakes and only squeaks for a little bit. not sure which way to move the wheel when checking the hubs not real sure how to do it at all... my abs light is on and my trac off light is on too because of this. i know its not pads or rotors because those have only about 1.5k miles on them if that...
