I see on my local Craigslist an ad for a cat-back system that came off the guy's 98 GT.

So, the logical (or maybe illogical) question is: will this kit fit my 07 GP GT?

And if not, can someone please explain the difference in the exhaust setup so I never ask this again?

    Shanks, guys.

Given they are different, I don't know HOW different. According to my specs in the catalog, they are close, hangers seem to be in generally the same location, and the design is really similar. Now whether or not the tips will be the same distance apart and whether it will actually mount up, I don't know 100%... nobody does it

Take measurements and compare, or go there with your exhaust and compare, or take your whole car, slide it under and see how it fits lol

Thanks for the tips (PUN intended) - it all comes down to "does it realllly fit?" - and I would def have to measure before droppin the cash. Now I have to ask myself - how much effort do I want to spend on this? Esp in this damn heat...
