    So im replacing the air filter on my car and i cant get the interference fit hose off of the dam throttle body. is there like some magical secret?

    You have to start peeling it from one edge and walk it around the lip. I was actually able to get the airbox open without taking it off before but it's difficult.

    i tried without taking it off but i need a third hand. its a pain thats for sure. is it hard to get back on?

    To get it back on you could always just wipe a little bit of WD-40 around the inside edge of it. That will help it slide on easier.
