So my HVAC has a couple of problems. I think I know what they are but wanted a second opinion.

#1. My blower only works on the highest level. I Believe it is the BCM but not 100% sure. Any other thoughts?

#2. My vent selection switch doesn't change the vents. It just kinda blows out of all of them. I have read in another thread that it was cause by vacuum hoses having a leak. If that is the case does any one know WHICH vacuum hose it would be. That would save me a TON of time searching. And if you don't think it is that what else could it be.

    No, that's a blower resistor.
The vacuum line if i'm correct runs up the drivers side wheel well by the strut tower and into the cabin. Someone should correct me if i'm wrong can't remember the last time i fixed one.

Take off the kick panel or you wont' see either lol.

#2 can be caused by a lil vac hose on the right size of the console under the dash or the Vent Actuators.

For the vacume line I ended up using brake tubing to bypass the old passthrough, I went along side the shift selector for the auto transmission, and slit the foam/plastic noise barrier to minimize kinks in the line in the passanger compartment. This greatly shortened the length of vacumme line to the hvac system.

Ok I spent like 4 hours on Friday night ( and a 12 pack) trying to find the nasty little vacuum line. And no luck. I cant find any problematic spots anywhere... I did not tear the dash apart however. Is that my next venture?
