I have a 2005 Grand Prix GT Sedan with a sunroof. This morning I had water in my car, specifically the floor on the front passenger side, the seat on the front passenger side and the ceiling liner (from the sunroof to the front passenger door). The sunroof was closed tight so I'm thinking it is the sunroof drains that are plugged and therefor leaking. I've found threads on here and the internet but they all say I should have water coming out of my overhead lights, but I don't. Could this be by drains or would this be a different issue?

i recall some one else here was thinking their sunroof was leaking and it tuned out to be the windshield. food for thought.

    Mine.

'99 GP. Headliner was wet and dripping on the shifter. I taped off the sunroof and learned I still had a leak. I had the windshield removed and reinstalled. We've had rain in near-biblical proportions since then and the interior is as dry as a bone.

most likely drain plugs. Read really well through the water leak thread for the 04+ guys featured in the "new members-helpful threads" and you should find your solution.

another possibility is the onstar antenna

I'm pretty sure it is the drain plugs. I did a test today and water didn't drain when I poured it on the passenger side. It drained quickly from the drivers side.

Ok, I'm blind. Where is the "New members-helpful threads" forum? Do you have a link to the thread you could post?

That's the link to the new members helpful threads, it's in the "Introductions" forums.

    http://www.grandprixforums.net/water_floorboard.php

That's the fix for the water floorboard for the 97-03 guys. In the new members thread, it did say it had something regarding the 04+ guys, but the link for the 97-03 guys and the 04+ guys are the exact same.

had it happes twice to my o4, when it rains hard the rain leaks through and goes into a tray and flows out through 4 different tubes above the headliner, sometimes with the head, the tubes pull off because it shrinks, just pull the headliner out, take the tubes off their clips and clamp it back on,

Ok, the Helpful Threads post says to look at post 4 and 5 for the fix but the water in the floorboard post doesn't have any additional posts. Am I blind or is the fix not actually there?
