HIDs for cheap most people go for VVME or DDM tuning for the HID kits. And as for the lights filament bulbs are not that bright to begin with.

I have the same issue with my 98 GTP. Sometimes I can see well other times I can barely see 10 feet ahead of me. I changed out the normal bulbs I had for a new set of bulbs that burn at 8500k and have a blue tint to them and I can see alot better in front of me but still cant see all that far, maybe a few feet further then the old bulbs. I have tried aiming them different. It has even come to the point that if I do not have my fog lights on I cant see if I am in my lane or not when its pitch black out. My lenses have been cleaned and are crystal clear and still does not help. I have never has this issue with any other car I have owned. I have even had other friends see if they could see with them and that it was just my eyes and they say they have issues too. Not sure what the heck is going on
