The moment I turn on the ignition of my 2006 GT. I get a low level buzzing humm in the dash. It seems to be relay controled since when I turn the key off the buzzing ceases and an audible RELAY click is heard. Before I dig into the dash, wiring, etc. I thought I would get some input from the FORUM'S GURU"S. I have looked in the search forum for answers but nothing seems to pinpoint to what the buzz I hear is. Thanks for any replies in advance.

Thanks for the reply. Yes the GT does have the dual climate control system, heated leather seats etc. Everything seems to be working as it should.

Under your ignition switch you will see a little vent hole which contains the cabin temp sensor and has a little fan, Im thinking it could possibly be from this if the fan is wearing out, check it out and let us know what you find...

I know it's been a while since this was posted, but if it can help someone in the future...

I had the same issue in my '05 GTP, and, along michael's line of thinking, it turned out to be a temperature sensor for the Auto Climate Control, which I believe was located somewhere behind the radio/knee panel on the dash.

I have a buzzing like that as well, I hear it ever time I flick the switch for heated seats.

    It's rather annoying
