There was someone selling a 6 speed conversion on here a while back coomplete but it was a hefty price. Would get a list and go to a junkyard

Swapping a manual in these cars is "only" as hard as an engine swap IMO. HOWEVER... You really should do some research on it though as there are many ways it can be done. Having custom axles made from a shop or mix/match from other cars for example.

I have spent a solid month of research on my own which I have found is the only way to really do it right. This site is an excellent resource as are fiero.nl, other w-body sites, etc.

A general parts list would look something like:

    Getrag 282/284 or F40 - $150 to $1000
    Camaro 3800 flywheel machined down - $20 to $120
Shifter & cables (that match the tranny) - $20 to $250
Clutch - custom, push or pull type (depends on tranny) - $250 to $750+
Clutch pedal - some easier than others to install - ? not much tho.
    Axles - custom or mix/match junkyard one - $50 to $250+

Here's a link or two to get started:
    1991 - 1994 5 speed Manual (GETRAG 284,282) At Your grandprixforums.net
Kuntzie's 01 Turbo GT 5-speed thread----- pg 10 extra special sunday delivery!!

I know, it's been covered but OOPS I covered it again
2002 GT F23 5-speed swapped, SPEC stage 2+ clutch, ZZP Power Logs, E-brake handle swap.
