    Did this the other day... The old air box was a b!otch to get out. Its sounds like a huge vacuum under there! Also, when I took the air box out I found out I currently have a '96 regal transmission in my car. Learn something new everyday!

    I see you went the PVC route??????????? I just threw mine on today and went straight open cone. Im depating the hot air intake setup you got going here.
    1998 GS with Open cone, PLOG, ZZP Catless DP, tune & Intense MPS 3.6. Pulls good enough to make the woman smack me and call me a D!*k.

    Yea I know (I've read entirely to many threads before I went open cone) I just kinda like the look a lil better thats all. I just went out and romped on mine tho and that whine is mucho bettero

    The hood prop gave it away for me, then the 96 Regal trans.

    yepp. my tranny is a piece of shiz niz. It really doesn't like cold weather... At all. It's alright in nice, warm weather, if I treat 'er nice.
