    I have a 01 Grand Prix GT-3.8 and wanna know where the IAC sensor and TB screen are located..so i can clean or replace???? Im fairly new to this & dont have to much mechanical knowledge..Help!!! (Picz would be very helpful)

    TB screen is in the TB, IAC sensor is a little plug thing that is a twist and pull to remove and its on your intake

    Thanx for the insight!! Does anybody have picz of the IAC sensor on the intake?? Cause i see 3 sensor's in that area

    Theres only one sensor on the intake tubing.

    the rest are on the TB.

    He seems to be asking where the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve is at, not the IAT (Intake Air Temp.).

    The IAC is one of those 3 sensors on your TB. It looks like this and is held on with 2 bolts...



    I wouldn't replace the TB screen, but just clean the entire TB w/ the appropriate cleaner (not carb or brake cleaner) and call it done. The butterfly in the TB gets gummed up after years and sticks sometimes. Also clean the passages for the IAC, etc... Get a new TB to UIM gasket as well or you will have leaks.

    IAC isnt in the intake. Its the sensor on the TB that looks like the above picture
