hey guys, I was wondering if any of you have had any experience with the sound that the mufflers from ebay produce. I'm looking at deleting the ubend and then putting on some new mufflers, like these ones,

Dual Titanium slanted tip exhaust muffler

I really like the look, and have heard one that was ok, but some other have told me they arent as bad as what they say

Personally I would think that they would make it sound like a rice burner. I can't imagine getting a very nice sound from those mufflers.

Getting a V6, particularly a 3800 to sound good is tough, IMO. But with that said, sound is all objective. I like the sound of old american muscle V8s. Some like the way rice burners sound. So all depends on what your definition of "Sounds good" is.

I think that is the most down to earth and realistic explanation of that subject I have heard to date.

yeah i'd have to agree ^^^^^^. I dont like the rice burner sound, but the ones I have heard sound decently low enough in tone, and aren't really rice burnerish. I'll let you guys know how it turns out

What vehicle was it on? Because what sounds good on my 350 V8 sounds like crap on my 3800 V6. Believe me, you need to compare apple to apples.

So it was nothing like the muffler that you posted? Or anything like the engine you have.....it will sound totally different.
