    Hello Everyone,

This is my first post. I have a 2000 Grand Prix SE with 3.8L 6 cyl engine going on 222K. With this age and mileage along with bouts of unemployment, I have been attempting to do more repairs on my own. So, my research efforts have brought me to this forum.

Been dealing with power sunroof leaks and will eventually need to remove clean and/or replace various failing components. My biggest problem is attempting to remove the switch. I have combed the Internet for days using different search engines and have yet to find a clear diagram or a photograph of the mechanism that I need to disengage to remove it. The crappie diagrams that GM gave me are worthless. The written instructions don't do a darn thing for me either. I am trying to avoid breaking anything.

I can figure this out if I could just get the back side (inside) view of the switch. I found a photo of the exact switch on eBay. But, there was no back side photo. Does anyone out there know of a location of the back view of the switch. Or, maybe someone has a photo they can post here. A good diagram would be useful, but they always seem to leave a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, my attempts to upload a small BMP Photograph of the switch on this forum have failed. Not sure if it is due to restrictions in my membership or a system issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
