No ABS on 06 GP ?

I have a 2006 GP Base, Stealth Gray with black leather,heated front seats, five button DIC, has the chrome trim bezels and stainless inserts, no sun roof or onstar. The car doesn't have ABS. I thought ABS was standard on all newer cars since the 90's? Does anybody else have a 04-08 GP that doesn't have ABS or was this just a certain years they made optional?

I had a base 06 that did not have abs in the car, it was strange. Mine used to be part of a fleet so that might be the reason why?

The option sheet I got from the dealer said it was a fleet car from Texas. I like that doesn't have it.

ABS has never been standard. I have a 94 Stealth that is ABS free and I love that fact. My 93 TSI also was ABS-less.

I've never been a fan of ABS, in my opinion, it sucks more than a vacuum cleaner.

ABS is good for people who tend to freak out while pressing the brake pedal. That's about it...

In 2004 (beginning of last GP body style) all GP's had ABS/Traction control standard. In 2005 when base GPs were first offered until 2008, ABS/Traction control was optional.
