Anyone ever used these? I'm assuming that they are like any other knock off brand that you would order from china. Not a bad price though.

Fair price on them, but they are crap. I am not going to use the search button for you to list the countless projector threads on these... search and you will see...

I figured that, I did search (Ive seen enough people bashing the lack of search ability) but I wasn't sure if these were exactly what everyone else has issues with bouncing, bad brackets, poor fitment, poor light output......

Plus I figured I'd post them if anyone was looking for some cheapies, they are one of the lower prices Ive seen, and I have bought from newegg before and they are pretty good with shipping and every thing.

Comparable to worn out hazed over stockers, the output is better, but there is bouncing unless you mod the brackets. Now compared to the Retro-fits with true good projectors, they suck and its not worth buying them. But its whatever your pleasure is. Buying nice looking decent projectors you have to mod to work right, or taking time to carefully build your own that work better but don't look as good.

They are not crap. They have the best output out of the aftermarket projectors on the market. It is the bracket and the bouncing that drives people insane. But if you search there are plenty of mods to fix that. The ligh output with HIDs is very good with them even though the beams cross. I recommend you keep searching and reading.

I keep up with the retro's and the multiple write-ups from these projector kits, both styles. I can only do more research if I BUY THEM AND DO IT HANDS ON... but the effect would most likely be the same as the several writeups already on this forum, from those that have bought them and then replaced with Retro-fit Projectors with even BETTER output.

Granted the crap comment was a little harsh, just my personal opinion. I don't want to have to mod something that costs that much just to make it work better, it should be built right for its intended application.

Was it these that had problems with the plastic flaking apart?

Most ppl on here do not like these for some reason but I love mine. I have hid's in mine and they put out an incomparable amount more light than stockers with hid's, I've had both. They look badass too.

Yes retro fits are better but they require you to make the headlights yourself and hope you don't screw anything up and they cost more. I say get what you posted.

I had two sets of these projectors. Both had great light output with HIDs. The first set was replaced by spyder auto as they were under warranty and were close to me. The reason for them being replaced, was that the clear coat on the outside of the lens was flaking off. Other than that the both sets that I had were fine other than the known bouncing issues and beam crossing. I would still recommend the spyders to anyone who was considering an aftermarket projector that is available to purchase.
