Its started to get very warm out, and notice that temp gauge
goes 4 small bars from the red area. All these years I've never
notice it going that high, coolant levels or ok when hot and cold
in the overflow tank. I haven't heard the fans kick on yet!
At what temp. are they kick on? I have a 2004 GTP.

around 230ish both fans come on

maybe try bleeding your system, you might have some air it, or maybe the temp sensor is going faulty.

the coolant flows flows well and did a pressure test for any leaks which
pressure held at 20 lbs and no leaks are visible on engine or ground.
Ouch 230 ish isn't that like to hot?

230 is fairly hot, but not too hot. the stock thermostat is 195* so you should probably normally run around 210*.

I bought a actron autoscanner to see what actual temps where,
they bounce around 190 to 210 at stop or at traffic light they climbed
to 218 i wondering what they will be in the heat of the summer, 218 is pretty
close to the red on the dach board cluster.

thats where mine goes too, 3 bars from red, maybe it allways been there
before and just never notice till now. I'll look into a 160 or 180 thermostat
    for it.

mine did it right after i changed my lim and water pump so it probably had a air bubble in it and has since then burped. its supposed to be in the middle of the second quarter. have you had you coolant drained recently

about a year-n-half ago the plastic elbow under the supercharger was leaking
had that replaced and gaskets as well, and remember burping it because the
heater blowing hot air then going cold then hot, but that was like 20,000 miles
ago, I guess I'll wait and see what happens when it gets real hot out.
