    if i just wanted to mount a universal muffler setup what would the diameter of the pipes be from the cat back to the muffler?

    2.5 sounds awfully large cam.

    Theirs is 2.5, but they did the same for the 3800's when the 3800's stock go into ~2" piping into the mufflers.

    would you like me to hack off my exhaust so i can measure it? i dont own a vernier caliper.

    *edit* i used my nugget and got out a c-clamp. from the cat back to the y it is 2.5". after the y to the mufflers is 2".
