2000 Prix GT. Stock L36 engine. Car has been running totally normal until yesterday I went to start it and it ran for 4 seconds and then stalled. It doesnt matter if you leave it at idle or play with the gas it stalls after a few seconds even if you do it consecutively. I have unplugged the MAF and it doesnt change anything. Popped the vacuum line off and no gas so the reg must be fine. I read about the bypass for the resistor but I think thats only for the GTP? I havent checked the PCV yet but im not sure if that matters either? I just need some help because im pretty noob at this but I want to learn how to fix s*** like this cause im no rich guy. If anybody could help me out that would be great!

I'm having the same problem. Have you tried replacing the fuel filter?

Sounds like a security issue. Starting up and running for a few sec is usually related to that. Esp if it starts up and runs fine for a few sec

No the filter is pretty new still. But does it still sound like security if i reset the comp and it runs fine now? I dont feel like that is a permanent fix...

CPS, crank position sensor, could be bad. stalling with no codes and no warning are nice signs
