    i have 98 gtp want to get rid of stock exhaust. should i get headers with some magnaflow? or a just down pipe with u-bend deleted and flowmasters?

    speed daddy headers, don't do a res delete. There's my suggestion.

    Dynomax mufflers sound good (at least on my setup)

    Speed Daddy headers, Use band clamps and lots of RTV. Then leave the stock Catback, you'll be happy.

    IF you want louder/deeper, get a nice set of mufflers...Borla's sound the best on the 3.8 IMO.
    Just dont get a chambered muffler...and DONT remove the resonator...you'll hate you life and all your friends will kill you....

    thanks for the suggs. im thinking speedy d headers and stock cat? some borla or magna flows. how expensive are the sd headers?

    205 to your door + $40 for clamps, $5 for RTV, $50 for new flex, $90 at most for a cat.

    Then someone with a welder has to make the downpipe if you want rid of the goose neck.

    If not, you can stop after the RTV, might still want a cat though.
