    Hey do these contacts get sanded down to bare brass or is the contact on left, what they should look like.

    Yeah, just get the black stuff off.

    Perhaps some electrical contact cleaner to ensure its clean.

    Thanks, cleaned contacts, but can't get cam and spring in right, car won't start, so I guess its time for new switch, probably took to much off contacts when cleaning. car either stays in start position, or when I turn cam and spring to different position, stays in start position, or can't get cylinder lock in place. either way I am f'ed till payday.

    Says end of spring that sticks up has to be in 12:00 position cam tab at nine in top cover, then while holding two pieces together move end that sticks out to 4 00 position, hmmm, yea that's a tough to get but it looks like that may be the prob. Oh well, get a new one and keep messing with this one.
