so i sold my 01 ta about a month ago and wasnt sure if i wanted to. i mean it was my project car but i put alot of time and money into that car to getting back on the road and had mixed feelings about it. it still needed alot of body work and chassis work, but i found out the beggining of december that im having a kid so i was kinda like well **** now i have a baby on the way i need to start thinking about that and not be putting my money into the car. my wife was like well do whetever you want it your car. i have my 97 gtp but that thing is a piece, i got it for my dd to and from work mostly and it needs some work. it needs a new passenger cv shaft, new motor mount, the hvac is shorting out or something cuz everytime i turn it on the DIC turns off, but when i turn the hvac system off the DIC comes back on, that cant be good so i dont use my heater. the driver side window fell off its track a month ago and my brother and i ripped the door panel off, ripped the styro foam out and shoved a small piece of a board in there to keep it permenantly up, and also after the car is up to running temp sometimes it feels like the car is choking or something when i accelerate from a stop, even light throttle, much much worse when i step on it but its not all the time. i mean i never have a problem when its cold just after ive been driving it for a few minutes. ay first i was like f-ya a gtp, but now im like f-this thing. i mean if it was my ta ide have that thing pulled apart to figure out why its doing that but this car im just like, eh whatever i dont have the ambition to work on it. anybody else have this issue, sorry i had to vent to ppl who appreciate their cars unlike my wife who thinks they're meant to be driven until it breaks.
