8k is sure bright enough for me. and for the look, i definitely wouldn't trade it. i get high beam flashes enough as it is. doesn't make sense to me, mine are wayyy brighter, they can't win at my game if they're not on my level... oh well

depends on the kit. mine isn't. most other people's are, and they paid a third what i did lol. shoulda shopped around. but if your lows are still halogen, there's a really simple way to wire your lights so you can have brights and foglights on at the same time. you wanna talk about light output, i probably looked like the sun coming down the street

i'll see if i can dig up the write up for you. it's just a simple jumper wire in the glove box. ddm, i think it is. i have a different kit, but i asked if people turn their hid's off when they pass people and got some weird responses lol.

If you are going to go HIDs then I would recommend 5000K. I have had 4300K, 5000K and 6000K. 5000K was the best of both worlds. If you really want better light output then the projectors are the best way to get it. DDm should have the hi/low kit. If you get the low on;y, then the high beam indicator will be dimly lit. Also be cautious when using HIDs in the factory fogs. Some have experienced melted lenses.
