    So my key fob will lock my car but not unlock it and ive tried a new battery. what the heck is wrong?

    Open the fob and check and see if the prongs that hold the battery in are still connected to the board...i was having a similar issue. My car would unlock but wouldnt lock or open the trunk and that was the issue.

    No not touching the battery, there are 3 spots where the metal that holds the battery in touches the circut board...if one of these three spots have a weak or broken connection, your fob wont work correctly...One spot is at the top and the other two are on the left and right sides. They are sautered(sp) to the board.
