04 Grand Prix GT Started this morning on the way to work. It's no pooring out but after a 45 minute drive I had a 2-3 puddle on my floor mat. Upon further inspection this afternoon it seems to be coming from the inner left side of the passenger area next to the middle console piece. Our best guess is the heater coil? Can anyone steer us in the right direction and if it is the coil how hard is that to get too and fix or is it one of those better off taking it to the shop issues. Thanks in advance guys.

95% precent it is your heater core that has sprung a leak, and it is a pain in the ass to get to. http://sm.gpona.com:9001/si/cellHand...952054&from=sm let me know if you cant et into that?

its your heater core. Its not the easiest fix. how confident are you in your skills?

Thanks for the link mike. I'm pretty confident in my skills, but at the moment I don't know if I have the dedicated time and even less likely the patience to take all of this apart and do it myself. I see a trip to the shop in my very near future.

If i were you i would do it yourself, if you have a dealer do it, it will be a nite chunk of change. Worked for a dealer before, and took them all day to do a heater core on a gp.

Anything special outside of that nifty guide you can think of I would want to know when doing this myself...i.e. make sure you don't...or be extra careful with ... outside of the normal stuff?
