    To be honest, A LOT of RTV is better than a SC gasket. Do both the LIM and the base of the SC and make sure you don't block the holes in either.

    Its a much cheaper and stronger sealing option.

    Yea Im just going to keep with the gaskets as I am pretty much just buying the parts and having it done so this is just my shopping list. Thanks tho for the extra option

    RTV is more difficult to clean up.

    If the paper gaskets are fresh-ish they should peel off in once piece.

    I have never had a supercharger gasket not seal.

    Im using Felpro all around so Im not to worried about sealing issues.

    got two friends with gen V and use Felpro and have had no sealing issues and i'm not a fan of rtv anyway since it does take a bit to clean up and your welcome on the support lol

    You aren't alone, I hate them too.

    Yesterday a header install showed up, missing bolts, no o2 extension, Bonneville aka welding time, no WO2 bung plug, no W body trans dipstick tube. It's ok though..got on the highway and dusted him off.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    when do u need that dipstick tube? did two header installs (04 comp g and my 01 impala) and didn't have to have the bent dipstick at all
