    2007 grand prix
    3.8L
    70,000 miles
Dies at low speeds, It happens sporadically, engine will die headlights and interior lights stay on, steering wheel locks but I am able to stop the car and put it in park and restart it without any issues. No check engine lights are on and it is very unsafe for but I have no other choice but to drive it if I want to keep my job and support my family. Looking for any advice, thanks

    Travis.

Unplug the MAF sensor and see if the problem persists. If not, I'd like to know if your tach bounces around before the car dies. If that's the case...your looking at a Crank Positioning Sensor.

If you unplug the MAF on an 04+ and rev the engine above 3k in goes into "reduced engine power". I had this same problem on my 95 Cutlass and it turned out to be the crank sensor like Blue says. I used to put the car in neutral and start it back up on the go. Since the key was still in the "run" position the wheel wouldn't lock. It was kinda nerve rattling the first few times though.
