    Hi,

I just had a few questions real quick, I purchased a 2004 GTP Comp G from a buddy of mine back home. (serving in afghanistan at the moment so i haven't even put it in my garage yet, i will be home for leave in a few weeks though.)

I've noticed while looking around that i can't find any other limited/special editions anywhere, not a picture or anything.

My GTP has a hood scoop/vents and on the side of the vent's it say's limited edition, it's got the comp g badging and everything, i just get the feeling the hood isn't the original for some reason since i can't seem to find another like it.

    Any idea's?

the hood it has is very similar to this

ahh nice you have a 04 SE just like me

these were a special option B2E on the RPO code. What color is yours, there were only 4 colors available. There were only 105 Cars made in the Superior Blue, and the car you see in the pics is the ONLY one exactly like it with the options

the Paint is Superior Blue and is only available on the SE car ( no other 04+ got this color paint
    Matching Front and rear valances
    SPO color matched grills
    SPO tips
    SPO (GXP) Spoiler
    Heat extractor hood vents
    Door seals
    special edition floor mats
Flangless wheels ( Special edition package only)

her car also has the 5 button, htd seats, curtain airbags, and XM. It has every available feature offered in the 04 model year...

Ahh, thank you This is exactly the one i have, Mine is Superior blue as well with all the available options.

for some reason i remember the hood being a little different but it's probably the same

I bought it mainly because it was the only grand prix i had seen like it.

Also i paid $9000 for it, was thinking he was asking a little much for it but the guy i bought it from is a bigger fanatic about car maintence then i am and he takes care of everything he owns really well so i figured it wasn't too much of a stretch, he was originally trying to get 10k for it. Has 75,000 miles.

but looking back i realize all the prices i looked at we're for the standard GTP (not even comp g) did i get a decent price?

For a Superior Blue SE I think the price was good. Very rare color that only came on 2004 SE's, not on standard GPs. Pat's is the only one I have ever seen in person. IMHO it is the nicest color for the 04+.
