The car has extremely hot air and the fan works as it should, but the problem is it is not defrosting the side windows. What it is allowing is for moisture to build up on the windows and then freeze after the car is shut off.

    3 items in question are:

    Water pump
    Coolant
    Heater Core

Is the heater core on these cars under the dash or engine side of the firewall?

Yes, it could us a flush. I have needed to add a bit of anti freeze/ water, but replaced the cap and that took care of that issue.

Anyone else ran across this issue? Had it in the past and that usually means a hole in the heater core, but with the water pump issues and purge issues that are listed haven't found anything where someone actually replaced the heater core.

Before you shut your car off, turn it from defrost to blow at your face.

Looks like just flushing it and seeing how much is in there is the best plan for now. It will be fun with it being 2 degrees out.

    NM. Found this. http://www.grandprixforums.net/blend...ent-21941.html

The defrost just doesnt seem to be hitting just the defrost, but is also going through the dash and foot vents. Anyone else run into this? Was replacing the door the resolution?
