The did look aweful. I had a lot planned with that, including retinting the tails because i did them in the dead of winter but unfortunately some ***** decided to ruin all my hopes and dreams. And the car is hella dirty in that pic.

I went 400 (helps get all the built up stuff off), then 800, then 1500 then 2000, then some steel wool. Wasn't perfect, it needed more attention but again it was freezing when I was doing this.

hand, the face of the tip is slightly curved so a block wouldn't work. Honestly, I fell in love with those tips once they were shined up, it'd be worth it on other cars. Even if you guys were to just buy the 04+ stock tips and weld/bolt them on.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this but the 2007 Impala's didn't come with a 3800, either a 3500 or a 3900, just saying.

My bad, must've been an 8th gen. My dad was the one who did the actual overhaul. I must've mixed up the year of the motor he swapped in. Might've been an '04 or '05. Had to of been. Had less than 25K miles on it. If you removed the valve covers, all you'd see some clean ass rockers.

You can mod your car with those many miles. My car has 166,500 and i'm still buying parts for it. Runs good too! It's all in how you maintain it.

I would consider doing that if I love this car. Truth is, I don't love it, so investing money in it wouldn't really be worth it.

See right there you told yourself you dont love the car...so DD it until you have the mula for a T/A and then sell it and don't put a ton of money into the GP. Get the T/A, be happy. Done lol
