2002 GPGT 171k on it, I swapped out both CV joints, rotors, and the front right sway bar link. Flash forward to the car back together and the steering is really tight, the wheel is hard to turn and will snap back to center if you take your hands off it. nothing unusual done to swap the axles on the passenger side I unbolted the tie rod and used the jack to pop it off the control arm and the did the same to the ball joint on the steering knuckle. The drivers side was a ***** the tie rod wouldn't pop off and I didn't have any ball joint forks handy so I worked around it. I was able to get the steering knuckle off the control arm why leaving the tie rod and sway bar link attached, putting it back on was SO MUCH FUN. On my second attempt to pop the ball joint off I thought it would be a great idea to use my jack again with the steering knuckle off of the control arm and push up on the tie rod, well this time the strut assembly and steering knuckle bent inward and almost put the jack on its side before I stood on it and let it down.. So I guess my question is.. what could I have bent or is there a possibility that I over tightened the sway bar link on the front right side? its a poly bushing, I plan to swap out the left link once I get another cutting wheel for my right angle.
