2003 Grand Prix...heater blows cold air; it only blows hot air if I drive anywhere between 55-70 mph...when I slow down or let off the gas pedal it blows luke warm and eventually gets cold. Any ideas! Thanks!

Will do...flushing it out tomorrow. I heard dex-cool is what is screwing things up...what can I use instead? Have you heard the same? I noticed the cap is kinda "gunky".
flush and flush again till its clean.
dex is fine if you keep air out and change it every 2-3 years.
It sounds like its low on coolant. Did you check your levels? Leaks? Intake Gaskets?
Use Prestone All Make All Model
Its much better than Dexcool, and will reduce your operating temps by 5 degrees.
I'm having almost the same problem, the heat will only get as hot as the engine is... luke warm engine. luke warm heat. hot engine warm heat... so just flush the coolant and that should remedy the situation, cause i do have coolant already but its red/orange dexcool tho i believe, will i have any issues with that???
you have an Air bubble!
air bubble??? i have a hose thats JUST startin to go bad
Turns out I had a intake manifold gasket leak, I was loosing coolant...I got it flushed and had the dex replaced with something else.
