Few things:
Pay attention to where you're posting.
These cars dont have A arms.
The lower control arms rust but the rust wont be the issue, the front bushing and the balljoint will go well before the structural integrity of the arm is compromised.
Replace the entire arm when you need either the balljoint or the front bushing. Its worth the extra money.
The ones on my 2000 GTP were really rusted (original lower control arm), I was at the time replacing the struts so while I had it apart I replace them with DOORMAN parts (Regal ones) only $65 each 1.5yr ago. Not only were they really rusted but the front bushing was in bad shape. They must have been BARE metal from the factory to rust that bad.
Thanks for the replies!
I have never seen a set rusted to the point of worry. Hell even the original ones on my grand am with 220k were not bad, the bushing and ball joint just started getting bad last month so I swapped it out.
