We've never had any problems out of Chevy's. Just get a PCM with your VIN that matches the SERV number. Done.

I agree. I don't see why you'd want to keep the L36 programming. Just flash to a full L67 bin (actual PCM hardware is the same for the same model years between L36 and L67). You're going to have to tune it anyway.
