    I just top swapped my monte carlo, and its idling very high, 2000 and then jumps to 3000. Everything is fin but the IAC is running at 130-170, and its not a problem with the control itself.

    You probably have a vac leak.

    Its not a vacuum leak, all mine lines are on and ziptied, it cant leak. Could a short cause this though?
