On Friday night I drove to the farm store, went in came back out. Started the car loaded the feed in the trunk, pushed the cart back and it was off. It would start for a second or so and rev up and die. After twenty minutes of this, I gave up, bummed a ride home.

On Saturday morning I went to tow it home. But it started right up and drove around the parking lot. So we shut it off went to another store came back and it was acting up again. So we loaded it up and took it home. Got it to the farm, and it started again; sat and idled again for probably 10 minutes, but than started to surge a little.

Now what is going wrong? Fuel pump? Fuel pressure regulator? ECM?

Pull the vac line off the fuel pressure regulator and see if it is leaking gas into the vac line.

Well I tried pulling the vacuum line, and got no gas out the top of the regulator, So I hooked up a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail. And the pressure and had about 40 psi. Is that where it should be at? Plus when I started the car it ran fine for about 10 minutes. Than it started to die.

Update: Replace the fuel pump, fuel filter, MAF and MAP. It finally runs, but now there is too much snow to drive it. I just cant get ahead.

Good to hear its running again. And about the snow, IMHO that puts you further ahead than you think as it prevents you from driving around with all the other idiots on the roads thus eliminating the possibility of someone hitting it, lol... What good is a car that runs fine if it gets totalled? Don't want to change your screename to "parts130"
